A Visit to the North Pole

Polar bear’s popup Christmas adventure

Polar bear finally reaches the North Pole, hoping to find Santa. Since the workshop door is ajar, he sneaks inside and explores the entry with an owl cuckoo clock, the kitchen filled with mouthwatering treats, the living room with a blazing fire, the workshop packed with tools and toys and finally the reindeer stall. But there’s no  Santa. Where could he be? Published by Bridgewater Books, written, paper-engineered and illustrated by Tracy Sabin.

This is a really lovely pop up book for reading at Christmas… The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and I struggle for words to describe them. It starts with Santa's castle a beautiful Nordic looking lodge, decorated with carved animals and plants everywhere. The Nordic theme continues throughout the book and the attention to detail is outstanding. ...the pop outs which give depth and dimension to the story, and of course some movement if you open and shut... The pictures are so detailed and filled with many images we can always find something to hunt for on the pages.
