Re:Arrangements

Thar She Blows Music’s  first album, this collection of songs, reflects the initial encounter with Suno AI orchestration. Tracy drew from a collection of personal tunes recorded as piano compositions or arranged using a digital audio workstation. These were loaded into the Suno AI app to explore genre orchestrations. The endless variations were intoxicating. This album presents a list of songs first in a contemporary classical style, then a second list in a contrasting style–classical versus jazz, classical versus Hawaiian, classical versus blues, etc . The collection is eclectic and meant to be a showcase of genre explorations rather than following the thematic concept of a typical album. “The Gnat-eyed Nimby” was a poem written in 1967, when Tracy was in high school.
