About Tracy Sabin

Although an illustrator by profession, I’ve had a lifelong interest in creating songs. From 1978 to 2000, I composed hundreds of songs on keyboards, including a Rhodes electric piano, and an Akai synthesizer. I recorded them on a TEAC four-track reel-to-reel, adding simple orchestrations with a Roland Sound Canvas. These tapes were merely a way to preserve my ideas; I never felt my live playing skills were ready for prime time. Later, much later, my son, Eero, a musician performing under the moniker “Duel-Nature,” introduced me to the AI music platform, Suno. I’ve been diving back into my music archive and using Suno to build out rich, expansive arrangements. For me, it’s not about letting technology write the music. Instead, it is an exploration of the hidden potential waiting inside those original recordings. What started as an exercise in archiving has evolved into a creative adventure, allowing me to share music that has been waiting decades to be heard.
