The Golden Pear

A small child narrates each song-scene of this cinematic album, which portrays an epic journey. Five brave explorers set sail into the mist to see what they can’t see. Landing on a glowing beach, they discover a gigantic four-leaf clover. Is it good luck? Hiking up a hilly jungle, they build a raft to cross a swamp and continue through a fragrant field of flowers. In a clearing, they stumble upon six dancing fleas, the size of plump piglets. Who or what do they dine on? In a dark forest, they hear scary sounds. Snorting and snarling, a troop of giants arrive. The explorers hide in the bushes as the giants dance and yodel. The giants see them. They run until they reach the sheer walls of a granite mountain. They find a cave–big enough for the explorers, too small for the giants. At the end of the cave, they stand on a ledge above a desert valley, where they see an enormous golden pear. Their pear. The one the giants took so long ago. They rumble-tumble down to the golden pear and sail home, returning the golden pear to its proper home.
